I am in the burbs, have not. But my office got mail in old city.
Damn. Home is in the burbs. Total loss of motivation to trek through the snow. Thanks!
I was temped to point my webcam at home toward the mail slot and tomorrow stalk my own house at work. Fortunately people are home today, but no mail
I am off tomorrow so I can go outside and build snowman while stalking the post man yay

Not that I've seen and I've been harping over TLS all day today. And been running to the mailbox every hour. There is NO mail today too. Why do we pay taxes?

Our mail fucking sucks. I'm going to coerce whether I got a decision out of cls's admission office me thinks.

Well NYC's mail is also failtastic right now, if that makes you feel any better.

I don't get why it's during such a pivotal time that the mail system has to fail us. I know, we only notice these incidences of failure when it matters, but still. And CLS fails for not capitalizing on the status checkers and mass emails. I mean at least a "decision renderred" would be something. Then we can curse at the collosal failure that is snail-mail.

I wouldn't freak if you haven't gotten a VCE yet. Not to sound arrogant, since it's definitely possible they dinged me, but I've gotten into HYS and have an index over 4.7 and haven't heard anything (after applying in September). Everyone should just chill for a couple days.

It's much easier for a definite admit to chill. But for those of us on the border between abyss and a VCE... it's not easy.

For a bit of lighthearted relief for those waiting, check out the hipster stereotype on pg. 158 living in Williamsburg who doesn't know where Greenpoint is.

Can I have someone who is pretty familiar with Columbia admissions privately chance my friend in PM? He's wondering if he even has a shot with a 4.2 index and a fairly unusual profile, and I don't know enough to help him...
