Just got an email saying I'm being "held." I assume that this = waitlisted which from the looks of LSN is a black hole to rejection.

Negative. Reserve = waitlist. Holds are given a decision of WL, ding, accept in April.

Just got an email from Columbia placing me in their "special" hold category. I guess this is not so bad?

Good for you dulc! I am resisting the urge to obsess too much about this one. At this point, I feel like there is pretty much nothing we can do. Also, if I recall holds didn't come out till the second week of Feb. last year, so the calendar is a bit different. I give up on trying to read these tea leaves.

I wonder if they are done sending out holds for the day? No! Must. stop. speculating.

Speculate the chances of not being held this year. Since your hold led to a reserve.

Just got held a couple minutes ago. The non-special kind. Submitted late November/finished processing in December.

The e-mail only mentions sending in updated transcripts; any idea whether an LOCI is appropriate here as well? Thanks.
