Ugh I hope I'm busy enough this next semester that the wait for a Columbia decision isn't too bad.

I hope so, but obviously the sooner the better. Here's to hoping Columbia doesn't auto-ding me for retracting my ED app, or banish me to a late March/April decision.vertex wrote:The next few months are gonna be huge! Everybody fasten your seatbelts!

Ehh well if an official has to be sent ill just send it to LSDAS(non-requested grade update), thanks.Kili wrote:nah, same as admissions officetkgrrett wrote:Is there a specific email address for grade updates?? and how do you go about updating them? send a copy of updated unofficial transcript? send official transcript?
Email them your grades and send an official transcript to CLS
I have a sneaking suspicion that that goes for me too.ahduth wrote:Bah humbug. Same.artichoke wrote:future reject here joining the wait
Did you at least get good grades for fall?dulcatis wrote:I live every day in fear of a grade update request Eeep.
Well I'm still waiting for my last grade. They weren't like...completely horrific, but it'll drop me .04. if I get what I think I'll getr6_philly wrote:Did you at least get good grades for fall?dulcatis wrote:I live every day in fear of a grade update request Eeep.

Damn that sucks Should pick the easiest classes for fall and leave the hard classes for Spring. After I decided to reapply I was sweating bullets all through the summer. I also don't have any idea what I got for fall so hopefully I don't end up with a request.dulcatis wrote:Well I'm still waiting for my last grade. +1 on all.dulcatis wrote:I hope they're done with requests! Though I doubt it...I'm taking easy classes next semester so I can enjoy my last semester, but that won't help me!

I had the same question, and did some extensive search. I didn't find any Columbia graduate grade requests, but I did come across ones from other schools (like Penn). Maybe if you are highlighting your graduate study in your application, you may get a request. I wrote about it in my PS, so I may get a request if they care about me lolbirdlaw117 wrote:Does anyone know, or has anyone received, a grade request for graduate students? I don't really know how helpful it would be for them since graduate grades are inherently difficult to measure success from. Just wondering, thanks!
I hope they request my fall grades. I had my 6th law-related class between my undergrad and graduate studies, and made it 6/6 As. I feel like that might at least carry a little weight (I hope?).r6_philly wrote:I had the same question, and did some extensive search. Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

That was my plan. The only thing holding me back is if I get waitlisted somewhere else relatively soon I can include my transcript with a LOCI. Although, now that I think about it, I don't know where this waitlist would be coming from.r6_philly wrote:birdlaw117 wrote: I hope they request my fall grades. Update it anyway! Since your grades don't go into the ASW, LSAC will forward the transcript to the school.
If admitted and you accept, you will have to send in an official transcript directly from your undergrad and grad schools. Not sure what amount or if they even care about them at that point.r6_philly wrote:I had the same question, and did some extensive search.
