Same thing in 2009
I think some of it is correlated with submission date. When I did it that way, this is what I got:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key ... zZoP#gid=0
So there are some outliers, but when you hear back seems to have something to do with when you submitted.
Yeah, it looks way worse that way
Well I searched my numbers on LSN to remind myself that literally no one with my numbers gets a dollar from CLS and thus I would probably have a panic attack if I went there, and I feel SLIGHTLY better about rejection.. lol

Thanks!
So still no confirmation of the 1/26 wave... It would probably come to NYC if anywhere, right?

. Where do you have CLS in your school list?
Right now, Stanford and Harvard (if I get in, obviously) are above all the rest. After that, it is a toss up between Georgetown and Columbia.

Assuming I'm not getting in, I got into every school to which I applied with a fee waiver- and was rejected from every school where I paid to apply.
Shoulda saved myself some money.. lol

Exact same position here. It feels like sweet redemption. First this my mom said to me once I told her was: "They should have done the same thing 4 years go!"

This is nuts. I know a VCE isn't going to pop up in my email inbox, but everytime I get an email I throw up in my mouth a little bit anyway.

lol are we talking about UG? I was also waitlisted at Columbia-- but since I got rejected pretty much everywhere else, I've always had a soft spot for them. PLEASE DON'T RUIN IT.

Fingers crossed! Here's to lots of moms saying that in the near future!
Also, I agree about the heart stopping with e-mails. At this point in the cycle, every single time the red light flashes on my blackberry my heart stops. Seriously.

I know it sounds strange, especially on the TLS forums. But I really love DC, so the location definitely gives me a little bit of Georgetown love. Also, I really dislike extreme cold. But I also know it would be hard to pass up the opportunities Columbia provides.

Has anyone received a VCE but not a Georgetown letter or whatever they're mailing these days?

Nope, didn't get the G-Town packet either. The snow has probably ruined a lot of things. You?

Yes, indeed! I mean, wasn't it obvious when I said opportunities that I meant time to spend with TLS friends??

+1
I don't even have that much of a chance, yet my heart skips a beat whenever I get e-mail/text/call. It also doesn't help that some neighbours of mine kept on getting big envelops sticking out of his/her mailboxes...
this can't be good for my heart!
