Re: Columbia 2011!
While obviously a ton of people haven't gotten their VCEs yet, I'm beginning to wonder/hope against hope that Hamiltons are done differently this year. A lot of people with a lot of great numbers have been passed up...Calla Lily wrote:Also, I know that Hamiltons come with the admissons letter, but is that true for all other scholarships, as well? Does anyone know?

Hamilton'd. I am thrilled! But this is going to be a very difficult choice, as I was pretty set on Harvard.

I hope so, but I've kind of given up. There's no way it could take longer than tomorrow, right?Excellence = a Habit wrote:Me neither. Maybe that means our mail is just slow all around. Anyone know approximately how many Hamiltons are offered and accepted each cycle?

Does anyone know if CLS's financial aid process is different than other schools? I just saw on their website that you had to submit something when you applied... Did I miss a piece??

Re: Columbia 2011!
I read somewhere that the unnamed schollys go out later in March--I don't think there was another piece of the application, I remember checking everything pretty carefully when I applied.daisyduke wrote:Does anyone know if CLS's financial aid process is different than other schools? Dulc, and everyone, seriously, wait until tomorrow to have a fest. Mail is weird.
...although it is INSANE that LA people have gotten VCEs.

From my LSN stalking, a lot of people last year got smaller schollies the first week of April!

if someone doesn't accept it, will they offer it to someone else? Just curious.Knock wrote:Congrats! #'s?mtrl wrote:Hamilton'd. I am thrilled! But this is going to be a very difficult choice, as I was pretty set on Harvard.

After conducting numerous interviews and studies, I have determined the spread of the vomit outbreak, and have constructed a sophisticated 2d cartographical model for your viewing pleasure:

Re: Columbia 2011!
No VCE today. Maybe I applied too late in the cycle, submitted 1/12, complete only some days ago. The distribution of acceptances on the chart for last cycle on TLS looks brutal for me. I don't know why I hoped for a VCE today.
Congrats to everyone in so far.
