haha i've basically taken my lack of news as an unofficial hold. it's essentially the exact same thing as being held anyway.

here's some good news. chances are, we'll all get into some pretty good law schools, regardless of what happens with Columbia. *smirk*.mel2010 wrote:Perfect, let's hear some good news by the end of the week!

Reserve here. Submitted late November.
This is different than waitlist, right? It's just a postponed decision? We should hear at the end of May?

Reserve = waitlist. They will go over the list again after deposit deadline.FutureInLaw wrote:Reserve here. Submitted late November.

It's essentially a waitlist, unfortunately.

Awww! I'm going to miss you guys in this thread. But I guess now there's no need for my obsessive CLS stalking. And I'll miss all the cats too.plurilingue wrote:Your stats are excellent; I'm quite surprised that you were reserved. Damn I guess I know what's coming, then...GinaTheresa wrote:Reserved by email, just now. I'm relieved to finally get a response from them - and actually kind of happy it wasn't just a straight out ding.

In honor of page 300:
Q: Are 'reserve' and 'hold' also the same thing? Or are there pre-WL holds at CLS?
We know so far that there are the following candidate groups:
First round(s) of decisions
First round of holds
Forgottens (2/3 or later)
-Decisions delayed in the mail
-2/7 reserves
-????

Re: Columbia 2011!
Michigan also sent out a bunch of holds a few weeks ago. I was not in the "holds" for Mich and was just rejected. But, CLS put me in the HOLD pile.r6_philly wrote:Reserve = waitlist. They will go over the list again after deposit deadline.FutureInLaw wrote:Reserve here. Submitted late November.

I guess all it means is that i have a prayer, for now.
Does anyone know if most of the applicants were either "Accept" or "hold" up until this point?

Re: Columbia 2011!
holds turn into either a wl/rejection/acceptance with a great emphasis on WLs.incompetentia wrote:In honor of page 300:
