Of course there are future waves. They admit more than 1200 people, I don't think they have enough room/people to deal with 1200 packets in a few days.

Well I think we know there are waves, but there's the whole, "once they send out stuff to people who applied in Sept, are they done or are there more waves of that?"

Or at least that's more of my question.

I would just like to KNOW.

Read the details pre-edit. Best of luck. But if not, go get wasted right now just in case.

Lol in lieu of PMing, without specifics was it a reason specific to you or would it explain others' lack of decision too?

So the reason why I emailed is specific to me, but is definitely not something bad that would hurt me (actually, I think it has really helped my cycle), but the answer they gave could potentially apply to others who are still waiting. Sounds like my decision hasn't gone out yet and probably won't for a couple of weeks and since I applied in September that's pretty much game over.

I'm not saying anyone without a VCE is screwed, but it doesn't look pretty for September applicants still waiting by the end of the week.

I sent them a similar email. I'm pretty sure they didn't read it based on their response.

I've heard that based on last years wave some early apps are accepted mid-February with $$$. Not sure how it is working this year, since at least some Hamiltons and Butlers are already out, but there may be hope even if you don't hear this week. I am an unlikely candidate for cash prizes though, I am afraid.

LOL @ USPS being privatized

This conversation reminds me of Miracle on 34th Street--the part where the post office saves Santa Claus because it (as an official part of the US government) recognizes Chris Kringle as Santa.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
