Bummer!! I'll have to go down and try to sign a lease with one once I figure out if I am for sure going to UF! April haggling
What are your pros and cons for UF?
Pros: Small town feel of Gville, reputation of UF through FL, seems like a decent place to live. I really like the law faculty from who I've met.
Cons: I HATE Florida weather x1000 (and this year being 86 degrees on Nov. 30th isn't helping). I'm afraid its very gunnerish. I DON'T CARE ABOUT COLLEGE FOOTBALL and I hate big crowds (tailgate-game days). I'm afraid I'll have 10k undergrads forced down my throat because thats the majority of people who live there. Not really a "young adult" environment as much as a "drunk college kid" environment.
The cons are a lot of speculation from the few times I've visited. I'm going to have to spend a long weekend there or half a week hopefully getting to know and talk to students/ surrounding area to see what I really think.
