I just got an $18k scholarship in the mail with a 3.2 gpa stipulation! Sooo exicted...I also received $30k from FSU w/out gpa stipulation, I know negotiating with UF is difficult but does anyone think I have a shot?

Probably not I've heard of people with better #s and the same amt of money be unsuccessful. Be happy with what you got though! Thats awesome.

Just realized the event goes until 6! I don't think I'll be busting my rump to get there early afterall, but will be staying the night. I think I'm going to try and arrive around 11:30...

Sounds about right. I know for a fact that LRW and App Ad have a maximum curve of 3.25.

Been at no decision reached since 2/15, which I know isn't that long, but I'm still dying!

I have similar numbers to yours, share the same major, and I'm also a FL resident. I've been on hold since 1/21. Best of luck.

Ive been "no decision" since 11/18. lol. Hopefully March is the magic month. If i am rejected...tell me already!

159/3.7, similar major, 8 years w/e, and great softs. On hold since 02/04.

Seems like the Gator Nation is everywhere...!!!

Almost every student emphasized the friendliness/non-cutthroat aspect.
Profs said how accessible they were. Seemed convincing.
Lots of SCOTUS judges in the past( but don't know if they can keep it up.)
Liked the Alachua judge's advice, and externship info.

Pretty positive overall.

Seemed like a lot of people were sceptics about the job market, questioning prospects from UF/law school in general.
But then most people I talked to had jobs lined up.

Met only one TLSer, but he had to go early.
Walked into Salty with another ASD student at around 630pm, didn't see anyone from the day so went down the road to the swamp so we could talk. I felt old walking into Salty. Haven't been in an undergrad bar for a while. But, I got the impression that several other LS students might have felt the same way. I had to drive back home tonight, so couldn't explore more, but of course the town was buzzing.

Pity I couldn't spot more TLS folk, really got to get some kind of hand signal down for next time!

In the end, the only way I'll know for sure is to visit GW, my other option right now, and see if I could justify sticker in DC, with all of the opportunities it has.

That's what I'm saying. Someone mentioned some antics at Tulane. The thing is, no school is going to tell you it is cutthroat, so getting confirmation of which ones are is based on sometimes weak anecdotal evidence.

Literally never experienced this. There are gunners, sure, but no one I have met not been willing to help or explain something to me, less try to sabotage me.
