lol there is no way yours can be 5000 something. I calculated your index with a 163/3.28 and got ~5.702. And the other poster should recalculate too because someone with a 180 and 4.0 has an index of 6.398 so 48.49 is impossible too.

Example: (163*.029) + (3.28*.282) + .05 = 5.702

Hope that helps.

the index list is on LSAC, but all you do with you score is compare it to other people. I compared mine to a person who got accepted and a person who got waitlisted. The waitlisted person had almost my exact score :( and the accepted person was a litle higher that that. It's just helpful to compare yourself to other applicants with different numbers than yours (with one element higher, one lower)

That has to be the hottest I've been in my life... however from what I've been told through a couple of texts I got zoomed in on by the TV cameras at one point, I'm looking for a link to a replay of the game to confirm...

Hey,

Is anyone going to the UF Road Map Seminar next Saturday? If so, what do you plan on wearing? Online it says: "wear comfortable clothes". But if I go I don't want to be over-dressed or under-dressed. I was thinking jeans with a nice t-shirt (no collar).

Ideas or plans anyone?

I'm registered! And UF is coming to my UG tomorrow so I'm meeting with them there. I have no idea what to wear. I'll just do business casual like always. cute black skirt and top and heels.. probably...

But...that's like serious clothes  I guess I took "comfortable" to mean casual...

Or wait, did you mean you were wearing that to your meeting with them at your university or were you wearing that to the Road Map Seminar?

Wear whatever you want, there is no reason to dress up and no one will expect you to.

Wish I could go. Let us know if they say anything we don't already know! and they probably just say wear comfortable clothes because they will be giving tours of the campus and it will be really hot. However, the law school campus isn't very big, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hopefully they won't keep you outside too long. If I were going I would probably dress casual. Jeans should be fine.

I'll be there. Hadn't thought about attire really, but I'll more than likely just go with something casual. The law school isn't especially big in size and the whole thing is probably going to be pretty informal anyway. See you guys there. :D

Met with UF at the forum today! SO helpful! After talking about my situation, the woman offered to read my PS personally. Very, very impressed by UF!

I'll PM you when I get to my stuff, I have her card. She probably offered because I spent 10 minutes talking about my worries about it, but at least its a really good person to do edits!

I need some advice. I know the earlier you apply, the better. I'm taking the LSAT in October for the first time, and I'm afraid I am not going to do as well as I want to. I'm not trying to be pessimistic or anything, but I just haven't been scoring where I should be on my PTs. That being said, in the case that I don't score well on my October LSAT, should I retake in December, or will that be too late? I know they won't look at my application until they get my December score if I indicate that I am retaking in December, so I just wanted to see what you guys thought about this. I've already talked to the UF admissions people and they basically just told me how the process worked but didn't really give me any advice about it. Hopefully I will do awesome on the test the first time and not have to retake it but I would just like to have a plan B in case things don't go the way I want them to. UF is my top choice and I'm not willing to give it up just because of this test.
