The A and B classes are at the same time so I'm assuming they just split the whole section into two smaller classes for the A & B classes. So you aren't taking more of one class, it'll just be a smaller class size.

Oh my! Just an hour ago I checked and it was still no decision. Two minutes ago I relogin and the decision letter issued!!

Now I'm more nervous than ever.

I've been quietly lurking the forum, awaiting my fate. I have to say to Barbie, I am also a product of Floridas public school and you are right to be concerned about the education system in the state. Unfortunately, the k-12 system has not improved since we went through it; meaning our children will have to cope with an even worse system then exists today, if trends continue. BUT, what is primarily important in your childs success is how they understand the importance of a good education.

My parents pounded into me the fact that I was going to go to college (they said if I wanted to be an actor or writer, that was fine, but going to college was a backup plan, etc). I went to a well ranked art highschool (DSOA ftw!) and then went on to UF UG, but the most important influence on my education was my parents and my personal desire to be smart.

A student who doesn't care about learning won't learn, and that's not to say that the public school system failed to adequately educate them. In any state, a parents primary goal should be to make education a primary focus of the child; stress that with an education they will be free to make informed decisions about life, etc.

Oh man, now to await the transit time of my decision. I wonder if I'll make it alive lol!!

I'm a splitter and my letter was sent today.

Letter issued also. The sheer number of letters makes me really nervous that these are rejections or waitlists though I certainly hope they aren't. Let the speculation begin.

I had that thought too, but from the numbers I can see on people's profiles, it just doesn't seem like most of us would be flat-out rejections. WLs possibly...

edit: the 2 split low-GPA/high LSAT people do make me a little nervous :/ not sure what UF's trend for those is, if they have one.

I just checked those too. I'm kind of nervous. I do like though that a bunch of you have real high LSATs. That's encouraging. I'll be the downer now: I'm 159/3.79.

No! Don't be discouraged! That's a great GPA and I have seen a bunch of splitters admitted on LSN. Keep the faith alive!

+1, and what feeltheheat said. I'm 160/3.51, in-state...I have hope!

I don't think being oos kills your chances at all, but WL is still a possibility for all of us.

Aro? I saw he was in and his gpa is .O4 better then mine so that kept some hope alive. haha. We shall see. Untile then, there are still things to get ready. I just know a waitlist with further postpone my search and situation for living at FSU and that thought does not thrill me. haha.

I would wager that this batch is completely mixed. They eventually have to respond to everyone, and being that its the end of April... I wouldn't be surprised if they just finally decided on everyone who was waiting. Anyone still no decision reached? Even if so, I'm betting mixed batch.
