FSU is making the same jump in tuition ($16,500 to $18,500) that UF is, so if anyone feels like they were passing up more than just a scholarship to attend UF you have to feel a little bit better about the debt load discrepancy, I know I do.

I really wish UF would just send out the decisions the same date the status changes to "Letter Issued"

My buddy got an acceptance letter yesterday from UF. I believe his status changed Tuesday and he is 159 and about a 3.7.

It's not a bad price, but there are much better deals out there. My girl and I pay a total of $650 for a very comfortable, quiet 2 bedroom town home a mile from the law school.

 Warflamingo, I've seen a ton of places that are 3/3 for $900-$1100. I don't plan on much more than $400 for both lol

yeah $750 per person is quite expensive for a 3/3... it better be brand new, high end appliances and huge.

Any thoughts on cazabella apartments?
Dude, you can get a 3/3 apartment for like 375/month with literally everything included (utilities/internet/cable/etc). I think they match roommates though, which I would never do. I pay ~700/month counting utilities/cable for my single and I have a TON of space.

As for Cazabella, I don't know who told you these horror stories, but I've been there several times, know a lot of people who live there and have never heard a single complaint. They're a bit pricey, but the community is pretty secluded/nice, some units have their own washer/dryer, etc. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about them, but, I don't know everyone.
Mistergoft, where is this single you're in? I'm looking for a single, but all the good ones are like 800-1000 with nothing included (which is making me think I shouldn't be looking for a single). Also, if anyone else knows a good place to get a 1 bedroom by the law school, please share! Thanks!

P.S. WarFlamingo, 750 IS NOT a lot for a NICE room in a NICE house by the law school. In fact, If you don't want it, please send me a PM with the info so I can take a look at it. Also, if you, or anyone else needs a roommate for a place very close to the law school/midtown(i.e. the only place we should be living), let me know!

Are you a girl (for some reason I assume you are a male)? They only want a girl roommate. I think I'm going to pass on the house because I found cheaper options (I'd rather stay under 600 if possible), so if any females are interested in the house, then I can put you in contact with the girl.

What places are you looking at around the school? I may be interested in being roommates with you if my current possibility doesn't work out (I'll find out this week if her current roommate is staying or leaving.)

I can chime in :) I looked at probs 20 houses the day I found mine with my friend who has been at UF for 5 years (current grad student). We looked at some RIGHT by the law school for @ 1300-1400/month and were mostly 3/br, but I didn't like any of these houses because they were small (mostly small bedrooms and bathrooms). I didn't look at any apartments or *TOWNhouses, but I know my friends are looking for a girl to live in their house right next to midtown so I can ask them how much. I think they are looking for 2 girls actually and they are REALLY nice girls and grad students (I would have lived with them if I werent living with my husby) so I'll ask them how much if yall want :)

Anybody know anything about University House and Upper West Side apartments? They look nice online, although maybe a bit overpriced. Also, does anyone know if these places have a lot of undergrads living in them?

Don't think that quite pans out. UF is already higher and if it increases by the same percentage, it will not only still be higher, but be higher by a larger amount.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
