We might be in for a long wait, unfortunately. I just got my second acceptance yesterday, so I know I at least have some sort of option to choose from.. but I would love to hear back from UF and FSU sometime soon so I can make a decision.

Applied today! Do they send me an email with info about mailing the check/residency form?

Yes, you'll get an e-mail that asks you to verify your residency with drivers license info, vehicle registration, etc. You'll pay the application fee through their internal system.

but but but but I don't have a Florida drivers license! My parents are both Florida residents, I clicked yes under Florida resident because for tuition purposes I am.

They asked for voter registration number and a bunch of other info. I think you will be fine, but if you have any questions about it, they're pretty good about returning phone calls at the office that handles residency certification.

Do you guys think I should email UF and have them hold my app until Dec scores come out ? LSP puts me as a consider at 2.91/164. I want to say there is no way I missed more than Oct which would give me a 165 I think, hoping for 166, praying for 167.

Will they even get to my application before early Jan ?

I'm pretty sure that they can see you signed up for the LSAT, and therefore will hold out to see the new score.

Pretty set on Illinois, unless I absolutely hate it upon my visit in January or if something happens between now and then that I have to stay home with my family.

Yikes, 6k out of state doesn't help much does it? They seem to be pretty stingy in terms of scholarship money. I'm not expecting to get anything from UF in terms of merit based aid but hopefully they through some need-based grant money my way.

Actually, I was kind of excited about it because I wasn't expecting any scholly with my crap GPA (3.0x). Plus, when I did my tour I spoke with Dean Jerry about getting in-state tuition after the first year, and he seemed to think it would be easy, given that my wife is a life-long Floridian and her whole family is still there. We also would likely make our permanent home there if I go to UF.

Anyway, congrats to all those accepted and getting scholarships this week! Merry Christmas to all!

I did not. I'm really hoping to go in state. The only out of state schools I have applied to are UNC, Bama, and Tulane. Thus far, I've only gotten nods from Tulane and Miami. Not really meeting my cost goals but...there's always hope.

I don't want to be that type of special snowflake lol I think I will craft up a LOCI and send it to them tomorrow. My whole family is dying for me to get into UF so I can't disappoint them with a rejection, too much pressure
