Not sure ab minuit (I think so though) but ildeuce did around our time. He's autoadmitforsure but yeah... letter in transit were the admits in last years thread... decision pending people looks like they had a REALLY long, long cycle with UF

It would suck to wait that long--life is just kind of on hold, you can't make any plans or whatever.

Mine too. This is killing me.

I have this too, and looking @ last year this looks like a hold

Although I should say there were a few who got in shortly after receiving this status.

EDIT: Saw Barbie's Post, so it looks like we all have this and maybe what I said isn't true...

Minuit doesn't have it.. she prob has the strongest #s of us all (except for ildeuce-- I called him and he didn't answer). It may be a hold after all. BUMMERRRRRR!

I just checked again, yeah still no change... I have no idea what it means, haven't looked at last year's thread. I hope it's good news for you all!

I called to find out what this status means, as mine was changed today as well. It is not a wait-list; there have been no decisions made as of yet. Let's not all panic that we have been wait-listed just yet. They're probably trying to figure out who gets admitted.

Everyone is getting status changes at a bunch of different schools, none of mine have changed in weeks. Maybe my LSAC account is a ghost one or something.

The paranoid part of me tells me that the status changing actually does mean something then, and canesfan called was bamboozled (I include this word in my everyday speech whenever I can) by whoever they talked to.

I've thought about it and came to a conclusion. The people with really high scores just got put aside for the moment, because the admissions committee already has a pretty good idea that they will accept them. The people with the mid-range scores (ie, the ones who had their status change to review complete) were looked at and a decision is being made.

tbh, i don't think they would tell the truth over the phone either way. i guess if people start getting accepted and have a different status checker update when they do, then it would be time to be worried. but if this happened last year... idk.

This did happen last year-- but "decision letter in transit" was the opposing status checker. Since no one has that-- yet-- it isn't time to worry. When ildeuce and minuit's status' change ti "letter in transit"... then I'll worry... heh

Deuce (although he may be lying to make me feel better) said his buddy with a 163/3.8 has the "decision pending" status too. Since I would consider those almost lock #s, thats kindof a good sign...? haha.

Hey all,

I have been thinking about this status checker change and perhaps we are all being a bit too emotionally charged about it. Perhaps it means exactly what it says: the review is complete, and a final decision is pending. This may not be a blanket statement. In other words, this could mean different things for different people. Perhaps those who have seen no status change (e.g. minuit and deuce), have had no change in status (i.e. they are still under initial review).

I don't think this statement means wait-list, deny, or hold. There is no way that every single person has gotten either wait-listed, denied, or held and the only two accepted are minuit and deuce. I mean I could be wrong here but I think this makes the most sense.

Sixstrings also made a good point; everyone who has this status change seems like they are on the bubble. Maybe this status change means that the reviewers have each individually read the files and they are getting together to talk about them in order to pass a final verdict together.
