I went to public school too. Fortunately I lived in Georgia until high-school BC my school produced all pregnant uneducated girls and drug dealing jail bird boys. My husband went to private Catholic school his entire life BC his mom shares my opinion AB the majority of FL. Public schools.

Finals are in two weeks and we have a banquet for my journal Wednesday night that is already going to be a big timesink. I care a little less about grades now that I have a job, but, probably not going to be going out until May 5th. If you're on campus I'll be around though (likely in the library).

Sounds good, I'd actually like to meet you and ask you a couple questions. I'm not going to be too invested in actually attending much of the ASD.

Just so y'all coming to ASD know, I think JMBA or some faction within JMBA is trying to do an ASD meet and greet/social after y'all are done for the day... Don't know the specifics yet.

Anyone know how to get yourself into the lottery for the football tickets? I read the stuff earlier about it, but when trying to log in to the account management at the GatorZone page, it doesn't recognize any of the account info I used for the myUFL stuff. Anyone know if its something else entirely and I'm just really slow today? I really don't want to miss out on them!

I don't think you can sign up yet. Also, you can do it from when it opens until something like August and it doesn't affect your chances at all if you want to hold off on that payment.

Yeah it opened this Monday until some time in early June...I just want to get it out of the way while my its still fresh on my mind since my ability to forget things like this is second-to-none.

Oh no, I did. I just don't put things in my TLS profile. I was accepted to GA State but actually would never go there- I hate that place. Got into Wake but don't want to pay sticker in a place like W-S where my husband will never get a job. UNC hasn't and will never respond to my application (lol). UGA ain't about these 163s no-mo. So, here I am
My husband knows I don't WANT to live in Florida, but would definitly rather live in Florida than in the midwest or anywhere up north. I would just prefer somewhere with a little more southern charm and hospitality and better school systems.

My husband is still sending out applications. If somehow, someway he can land a 40k+ job in Gainesville or nearby, I'll be there.. Unfortunately, I don't have long to decide, and I may be double-depositing in the next few days which means I'll probably have to withdraw my UF deposit... (I have to call and ask). And yes, it is very hard and I hate that both of our futures are completely in my hands with... say, 3 ish days to decide

The reality then is that it's possible, but not probable, that you're going to find a job in FL. Going to UF with no money v. Stetson with a ton of money, if you're really going to stay in the Tampa area, is a VERY difficult decision. I don't know what to tell you, because it's hard to gauge how sure you are of staying there. People change--you may decide otherwise in a few years. So if you're not entirely positive, I'd go to UF if I were you.
