Are the seat deposit and orientation fees new?

OK I'm a little worried/confused. On the 18th, I received the status check email and the email asking me to finish the supplementary forms and submit the app fee. I found out yesterday I was WL ED at Virginia, so I decided to go ahead and complete my UF app today. I logged into my status checker and it said the decision was mailed yesterday! I haven't even had time to finish the app so I'm kind of worried they dinged me already... can they do that??

It's probably just the supplemental residency forms/fees for applying. It's different from the application which you've clearly completed and submitted. Go back through your emails and you should be able to find the necessary links.

I did. I went ahead and finished all the supplemental info and paid the application fee today. But I didn't know they could issue a decision without my submitting it.

Kind of happened to me too...I did the whole app though and never received an email about missing info. I forgot to mail the application fee and then forgot about UF completely until today. Checked the status checker today and it said that the Decision Letter was in transit and to allow 5-10 days. Either they dinged me for not paying the fee or decided to waive it retroactively and let me in. I guess we'll find out. lol

Oh man. I don't even remember if I paid the fee. I looked at the status checker and it doesn't mention the app fee in the fees portion of the page. Just seat deposit and orientation fee.

Guess we're in this together! I just did a quick check of LSN, and according to the site, they've only issued acceptances so far. This may be good news for us -- they want us so badly they didn't even wait for us to officially complete the application!

I've been at "File Reviewed--No Decision Reached" since 1/14. Applied at the end of December (holiday time). 161/3.4...thoughts?
