Thanks! PM'ed you. Anyone else?AJaKe wrote:(3) I have the Crim Law book - ISBN: 978-0-7355-5794-9. It is highlighted in only yellow and all comments/marks are in pencil. I am in Gainesville for the weekend, so if you are in town and want to check it out Sunday, let me know.thewarflamingo wrote:Are any current students planning on selling their books? If so, PM me with a price for separates or as a bundle. I have no problem buying books with some highlighting as long as it's not crazy and if your books are unbound, I'm fine with that too as long as pages aren't missing (obviously).
I'm in Section 3 and need these required books (The first two books are my main concern):
3. Criminal Law and Its Processes: Cases and Materials, Eighth Edition (Casebook) - Sanford H. Kadish
4. Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
6. Basic Legal Research: Tools and Strategies - Amy E. Sloan
Let me know if you have any of these optional books or feel free to tell me if they are not worth buying:
1. Professional Responsibility, A Student's Guide, 2010-2011 - Ronald D. Rotunda
2. Selected Standards on Professional Responsibility, 2011 - Thomas D. Morgan
(4) You will want to get your own new copy. TRUST.
(6) I have it, no highlighting/marks. I don't think I ever opened it for LR&W, tbh.

Agreed. PR is all about knowing the rules and understanding the Comments that clarify the rules. There are only a few cases (like Strickland v. Washington) that need to be known. Of course, a professor could test you on supplements, but I find that's rather rare, as you stated.AJaKe wrote: (1) + (2) ... Probably not, PR is an easy class. Yeah, it really stinks studying for the bar exam. I recommend having a lighter load your last semester, so you're not burnt out when studying for it. It's a ton of information to remember/learn in such a short amount of time. Also, my advice is to start studying hard right from the beginning, and it's not as stressful.mistergoft wrote: EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OKAY.

Re: U. of Florida 2010-2011 Applicants!!
So, let me get this straight. I either have to pay $76/month for mediocre television (not including any dvr or anything) from Cox or I have to pay $40 for the first 3 months, $90 for the following 9, then $130 for the following 12 months for Direct TV? Tell me this is a joke. These prices don't even include internet!

Usually opens when classes start. I'm not sure if it will be open between the end of summer C and the start of Fall. Usually isn't.Barbie wrote:Not to be all curious and annoying tonight, but does anyone also know what day we can begin to use the UF gym?

Heyyy, I have been dealing with so much internet/tv crap this past week! WHERE IS COMCAST, lol. So for Cox, they have this promotion going for 82.99 for 75 channels (I think standard) and "Preferred" internet which is pretty fast. The special is only for three months though, then the price is up-ed to $116 a month.. but I don't think there is any contract involved so I guess you could find a better deal when those 3 months are up!
Dish network also has a deal if you sign a 2 year contract, where tv is $29.99 a month for the first year and 44.99 a month for 120 channels the second year. This is for 2 tvs, I think additional ones are $7 more. However, if you don't go with the 2 year contract, one time fees and activation and stuff adds up to like $446. Not even kidding.
There's no AT&T Uverse offered in Gainesville right now! Only basic AT&T dsl which I think caps you at 150gb of data a month for $24.95 a month.
Hope that helps!! Let me know if you guys find anything better!

I don't know if you've ever heard of this, but there's this thing called football that occurs every weekend. I'd like to watch that live from the comfort of my homeAJaKe wrote:Why the heck are you all getting cable anyways?
