This has to be the nicest thing I've seen someone say on this website, which begs the question: how did you sneak in and how did you manage to last this long?

Anyone else strongly considering (the facebook page is looking pretty slim so far)?

Are there any current students or natives that can offer advice on housing? I would like to live as close to campus and downtown as possible. I have a large dog, so I would prefer something free standing with some form of a yard, but I would consider apartments/condos if they are right in downtown Indy.

Any recommendations? Parts of the city to avoid? etc. etc.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, please join the fb page folks! I'd like to start using it as a resource to swap ideas about housing and to share in the excitement of what we are all about to embark on! (3 yrs of hell!?)

I'm also searching for housing - I have two large dogs and a husband with a lot of "stuff." So we need yard and garage space. I do not live in the Indianapolis area but am about a 3 hour drive away and have recently made some trips to different areas to get myself acquainted with which neighborhoods I would like to be in. In the event my findings are helpful to anyone else (or perhaps this could prompt some info from others), I have found that I don't want to be in the South or Westside. Most ideally, I would love to be in the North of Indy area, especially the Broad Ripple Village area and perhaps even into Carmel and Westfield. These areas are slightly more rural but are about a 15-20 minute drive from Downtown.

Chants - because your a dog person, too you might want to look into the Monon trail. I hope to find something that is close - I'd like to destress by walking the dogs there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monon_Trail

I went under review today too. Does anyone who has already gotten accepted remember how long it took to go from under review to a decision?

Mine took about a week, between IR and decision.

Well, I hope I hear soon and that it's good news. I live in Indy by the way, not at all far from the law school. If any of you have questions about the area, feel free to pm me.

I think I was in review at least a few weeks before I was accepted, and my in review date changed 4 times.

File Complete since 1/7. I wish they would reject me or accept me. Would it take this long, sit in complete since Jan, if they were ultimately going to reject me? Goodness. I am so sick of waiting.

Maybe if you were "borderline" but obviously not if you were def out. Maybe write a letter of continued interest?

Ive been IR since around the same time as angie. Date changed to IR 3/4 and still havent heard anything yet. The only reason I still have any hope is due to the rejections on LSN.

Indiana, why do you take so long? Seriously. Reject me out the door, rather than accept me a day before the Fall 2011 class doors open! haha
