Attended the alumni/admitted students dinner in Chicago last night; had a good time. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to get to know all of you that were there. As a prelude, I will say that they definitely do it justice. It was a dreary day and I am far from a great photographer. However, the campus is beautiful! If I wasn't convinced before Sunday, I am now.

my brother is currently a 1L at IUB, he was planning to go to a different school and then an IUB alum convinced him to visit the campus and he said that made his decision for him! He really likes it there so far.

this is the 3rd time on TLS i've seen a URM poster singled out as being "entitled." A bit backwards from a societal standpoint, I'd say.

However, in TommyK's defense, there have been a handful of people on this board who, upon seeing the large sums of cash IUB is throwing around, have come to expect they they, too, will receive $40k/year or have expressed disdain that they only got $120k and not full tuition or more. That attitude is, frankly, pretty obnoxious. I honestly don't think cowgirl_bebop has that attitude, but her use of the word "jackpot" probably gave TommyK the wrong impression.
