I went complete on November 29th, and got my acceptance package in the mail yesterday. Hope that helps.

Those of you who received $ seem to be out-of-state residents. I'm in-state so maybe they are less likely to grant me $?

At the Chicago forum last year, I asked about establishing residency and the rep said that Indiana doesn't allow students to, so they weight their $$ towards Oos applicants.angiej wrote:Those of you who received $ seem to be out-of-state residents. Did the letters come to your guys' permanent addresses or current? I'm home for the holidays and am going crazy thinking I have acceptance letters waiting at my school address.

My husband just sent me a text and said there is a package waiting for me. Damn my 45 minute drive home from work!

Boo. I was born & raised there, and my parents still live there! Wish that counted... but I suppose it has been 8 1/2 years since I lived there and 4 since the last time I was considered a dependent.Lou9 wrote:At the Chicago forum last year, I asked about establishing residency and the rep said that Indiana doesn't allow students to, so they weight their $$ towards Oos applicants.angiej wrote:Those of you who received $ seem to be out-of-state residents. I'm at my permanent address and haven't received anything FWIW. I'm above both 75ths (I think, or at least very close) and applied in early November as well. I was complete 11-22 which someone on LSN listed.redrose11 wrote:Did the letters come to your guys' permanent addresses or current? Indiana certainly gave me something to think about.
I know LWOODS, you had said Indianapolis places better? Is this accurate?
I've never been to the midwest, but free law school is free law school. I just have to decide if I can spend my life there.

From what I've noticed/heard about the Indianapolis market, IU-Indy places as well in Indianapolis. IU-Bloomington places better overall, though.justadude55 wrote:Indiana certainly gave me something to think about.

I wonder if they are only sending out full-ride acceptances right now?? If so, then I doubt I'll get anything in the mail today, sadness.

angiej didn't get aid. But she's a pretty spectacular candidate despite her numbers.thewarflamingo wrote:I wonder if they are only sending out full-ride acceptances right now?? If so, then I doubt I'll get anything in the mail today, sadness.

maybe if everyone who got the 120k offers attends, we can boost them up to t-14 while simultaneously bankrupting the school, sending them plummeting into the 2nd tier. on 2nd thought, bad idea!

Sigh. Mail came. Nothing from IU.
Any chance priority mail deliveries would come separately from regular post?
