Does anyone know how this early decision works? I can't remember. I know I didn't apply to a binding early decision. Is it like UT's that you get reviewed first but you aren't bound?
It's non-binding.

No update for me yet and I'm a 164. Not looking promising
Ok, glad I'm not the only one. I think/hope they are just working on the higher people before they get to us since we haven't been held or anything yet.
164 here, complete 1/12, no status update.

From what we could tell last year, there were a couple people making the calls and they each had their own stack so it wasn't a purely alphabetical call order. This caused a little unnecessary stress on the boards when some people near the beginning of the alphabet hadn't received calls yet and people further down had already received them.

Illustration:
Say caller 1 takes A - F, caller 2 takes G - R, and caller 3 takes S - Z....
As, Gs, and Ss will all get calls around the same time and then each caller will work through their stack.

Moral of the story:
Don't sweat it if you find out that people who are before you and after you alphabetically have all received calls before you... it all depends on how the list of acceptances is divided betweent he people making the calls.

Good luck!

They are updating 164s. I have a buddy with a 164 and his status is updated.

Keep holding out girl. Even if you aren't in the first wave, that doesn't mean you're sol. With a 164, you should be fine.

Thank you for the optimism. I was just hoping my cycle would end today or Monday by getting accepted, so if I get held over or waitlisted, then I'm definitely sticking through it. I'm just worried they are trying to make a push for a new 165 wall.

No call here. Flamingo, even if they are pushing for a 165 median, some 164s will still probably get in.

Did any of you with status changes apply only for the PT program? Or are you all FT?

I applied to both. I went complete 1/25 after I called and asked why it hadn't been changed. I'm 165/3.7 but I don't expect a call anytime soon since I applied the 16th of Jan!

Also, over the 75% LSAT, under the 25% GPA. Last name in the middle of the alphabet.

Good luck, everybody.

Just a quick question. What's the 25%, median and 75% GPA for SMU? I have the stats for all these law schools all mixed together by now >.<

Also full-time here, btw.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
