I know an undergrad who is living in a 1 bedroom apt for $500/month. The rate includes a students discount. She said it is a nice quiet gated apt complex. Let me know if any of you need more details.

I'd like to know details. PM me but I'm wary because things that are too good to be true aren't. Thx in advance.

A 1-bedroom in Dallas for $500 a month isn't at all out of the question. It won't include midgets to lick your car clean at night, but it will be safe and decent enough.

I am willing to pay extra for the midgets.

There will be plenty of crackheads around your car at night for free. Some may or may not be little people

How long did it take other people to hear a response after their file went complete for the 2nd time after held for further review? And did you get a phone call or just status change to admitted?

The status of my application went complete on 2/7. It has been the one and only update I have received thus far. I'm guessing no one will hear anything else until late this month.

I called yesterday and that was what they told me: late April/early May. As for sending in a LOCI, she just said it'd be added to your file. :?

My status just changed to 4/12/2011, but it may be in relation to the LOCI that I e-mailed yesterday.

Since I am done with exams in a few weeks, I thought I would float this by people on here and see if anyone is interested in a bundle purchase of supplements / books. If so, PM me or something. I'd hate to sell back to the bookstore instead of them finding a loving TLS home.

I predict some acceptances over the next few days. Call it a hunch.

Also, if your numbers are above medians, a LOCI may help them decide whether you're using SMU as a safety or if you intend on attending, should they accept you. Otherwise, an LOCI is pointless.

My two cents.

I was so set on SMU... but Houston just sent me a significantly increased scholarship offer that is muddying the waters again. Ay ay ay.

How much more would SMU cost you now? Do you have much of a preference between Dallas and Houston?

Wow! Late in the game a little, but all right! It's exciting, even if it does make your decision more difficult.
