Received mine. I am a super-splitter + URM and received $33,557 a year. Definitely makes my decision that much harder. PM if you are interested in exact stats.

Got the same as y'all. Also disappointed; guess I was hoping for 30+. Not enough to make me go Dedman over UT, and also not sure it's enough that Texas is gonna bite in its scholly match program. Maybe squeeze out a handful of g's a year?
I have to tip my hat to SMU for good materials/marketing though. Gonna utilize this folder somehow.

Re: SMU 2011
I'm a little confused! I submitted 12/26 went app complete on 1/3, been silent since.
I saw a post recently regarding March and April dates for ASD, but they tell me that decisions for RD won't be posted until end of April to early May?
Last years board shows some trickle late february then again around March 10.
I'm just wandering if I should keep ping the status checker or just simply wait until end of March?

Congratulations to all who got admitted / money.
They typically don't seem to negotiate money...what you get is what you get. Never hurts to try, but don't expect anything.
If you have any questions or anything, shoot me a PM. I need all the excuses I can get for not working on my brief.

The people hearing back now are ED applicants. You'll get your decision later, probably before ASD.RightPrice wrote:I'm a little confused! I submitted 12/26 went app complete on 1/3, been silent since.

I actually wasn't ED, but I agree that you'll probably get something back sooner than later. I applied in mid-December, just a little bit earlier.

I got my packet in the mail yesterday. There was no scholarship offer inside. I'm 4.0/159 and I was admitted ED. In the packet it said if I am awarded a scholarship I will be notified within a few weeks.Since many of you got scholarship offers with your admissions packets do you think that I will not be offered any scholarship? Thank you for any help you could provide.

From NY here, received my packet-$33,557/yr. Thats all I was waiting for, despite full rides from other schools I really want to be in dallas and SMU has long been my number one choice. Looks like I'll be seeing some of you in the fall.

Waiting for the packet is worse than waiting for my acceptance. At least i knew the acceptance was coming.

SMU schollys seem to be extremely heavily weighted toward lsat. I hope I'm wrong, but i doubt that you'll see any scholly money below 160.oaebc wrote:I got my packet in the mail yesterday. Only got 21,557/yr. Pretty bummed. I know I'll get a lot of shit for this but Baylor is becoming pretty attractive.

I got the packet today. $25K/year. SMU dropped right off my list. Too bad, too, as I would have really considered it with all of my family being in Dallas. UT is a much better program and Austin is a much better town. It all works out in the end.

I would give my left nut to go to UT. Enjoy your stay in Austin.rupret1 wrote:I got the packet today. $25K/year. SMU dropped right off my list. Just got the packet. 21557 per year. Honestly I'm pretty diappointed. I hoped for at least 25557. If I had gotten 33557 i probably would attend. now I'm not so sure.

Did anybody else get their Sumner app in? I hope not because that means better odds for me.

Yes, took me forever to get a 2"x2" picture... and ended up having to overnight it. I also applied for the Hughes scholarship.12thman2011 wrote:Did anybody else get their Sumner app in? I hope not because that means better odds for me.
