Howard Law vs Syracuse Law

Post by vonailli81 » Fri May 14, 2010 6:33 pm

Having a tough time deciding between schools. Im a hispanic veteran trying to use my last 3 semesters of my GI Bill for law school so I am going to have some financial help. I would really like to go to Howard but because a glitch at the Veteran Affairs I would only be getting 180 p/credit at Howard vs. 1200 at Syracuse. Any advice? Howard at almost sticker with housing covered or Syracuse full tuition and housing covered for 3 semesters?

Howard is a powerhouse for producing URM lawyers. Unless you know you definitely want to work in NY I would be inclined to go with Howard.

Don't must Howard graduates end up in NY anyway?

Not sure on those statistics but I'm sure DC and NY are heavily represented. Howard would probably give you more options than Syracuse though and more room for networking.
