It looks like OP was accepted into the majority of the schools she applied to. Not sure what this little diatribe was all about?

I won't poke fun or harass (even though I REALLY want to), since I realize this thread is harmless. But I'm just utterly confused at what this is all about.

PS... Anybody else feel like this read like an OS post? Everything from the title to this line:
We are powerful, significant, and worthy of everything that the world has to offer. Whether you decide to pursue a legal education or not (and remember that it IS ok to turn your back to this apparent safe haven of school to explore your deepest passions), you can be the person you want to be. You only have to see your own potential regardless of what distant others have to say about you.
Just an observation...

I have an interesting observation to make. I've lost count of the number of TLSers I've met, and in some cases become very close to, out in the real world. A number of my classmates and students at CLS and NYU were on here before they ever enrolled in law school, and my first impressions of them were made from their posts. I like to think that I am a remarkably consistent person; what you see on here is what you get in real life if you meet me. To those tempted to alter their behavior due to perceived anonymity, remember: that anonymity is easily lost. I have seen too many real life feuds and too much grief and mischief ever to want to hide behind a username to say things I wouldn't say to someone's face. Assume anything you write on here can and will later be attributed to you, and further assume you may well meet the person you wrote it about. (I had two rather interesting real life meetings with people who were needlessly cruel on TLS. One of them was quite a bit different in person, and to say that he was embarrassed is putting it mildly.)

To SanBun: Good luck, and I wish you every happiness. I think you are on to something important. Dwelling on failure will not change the nature of what happened, but it will certainly sap your energy and keep you from moving forward. Learn what you can, then get on to the next great adventure.

Word to the big bird.

The way someone acts with anonymity says a lot about their character.

Coming from another "real" poster, I have to say that this thread was one of the most retarded ones I've ever read on here. Also, I am 90% sure this is a flame.

Thanks for the post SanBun. It's a shame law wasn't for you, I think you would have added much to the profession.

I think a lot of you are greatly overestimating others' tolerance for bull crap in real life. I'm pretty sure this would be met with gargantuan eye rolls and mimed vomiting pretty much wherever it was said.

And I would have slapped some sense into a few of you. No joke.

MTal, you are NOBODY to joke about anyone. If anything, OP's a step above you. You wish you were able to do what OP is doing when you were in OP's shoes.

The fact that you're a law school drop out from (how many years ago?) and are still trolling TLS is just a horrible way of existence.

And I guess OP is even another step beyond you because I bet OP will never wilt into a self-loathing, bitter, ignorant, racist TLS troll like you have mutated into.

Have a goodnight, bitch.
Not to toot my own horn, but you're kind of forcing my hand here. OP is waxing philosophically and yet doesn't have a job or seemingly any concrete plans for the future. Why on earth would I wish to be in HIS shoes?

And as for your last statement...I have nothing else to say except: Thanks for the compliment 8)
