Whoa. Congrats! Must feel good?
I second ToriM's call for stats, if you don't mind.

Wow, sincere congrats! Where were you already deposited? And what time did you get the call?
ETA- Checked your stats. Surprised you weren't a shoe-in from the start!

Got the call around 11:00. Had already deposited at Harvard. BEST DAY EVER after Yale more than doubled the amount of need-based aid.

Nice to see some people on here have gotten in.
Quick question: Does it matter that I haven't filled out that Need Access form for financial aid yet? I know I won't qualify for grants and amount of loans isn't going to be a deciding factor, so I only have the Fafsa in so far. But after re-reading the waitlist email, I'm worried they are expecting all the WL people to have submitted both, and not doing so could be a factor in decisions. Thoughts?

I hadn't sent them my FAFSA or Need Access, so I doubt that is a factor (yet?). But they do want them ASAP because we are already past their typical deadlines.

You don't need to fill out a Need Access form if you know you won't qualify for grants. I called up and asked.

It wasn't me, so this is just a public service announcement, but Yale is still pulling from the waitlist. A friend got the call within the past 48 hours.

either way, there's going to be a spot at SLS or YLS.
When means that there will then probably be a spot at HCCN....

Yup, in favor of Yale. Looks like a spot at SLS is open (if that's how this waitlist business actually works).
