How many people do you think are on the 3rd reserve and how many do you think they'll take? 100-2? Something around those odds...or do you think it's slightly better?

I finally withdrew from the Columbia "still have not made a final determination on your application" club. Good luck everyone.

Not to push, but can you two give some indication as to the credibility of these sources/contacts/claims? Viz. is it over with the CLS reserve this year, or are you just being Negative Normans/Nells?

Heya... I think what I heard just pertains to me... all they said was that the office of admissions is unable to admit me

as for as the source, well... send me a personal message and I'll tell you... but hard to get more irrefutable than that

OK. I think it's time to start betting whether they're going to take people off reserve at all, or if reserve is only a way to put off inevitable rejections for.... seven months.

Word on the street is that NYU is over-enrolled-- think CLS is too? I wouldn't be surprised.

that's the word... I think if you could donate a new wing to their library, it would definitely help

has anyone called and asked if they are over enrolled?

Yes. They say that they can't tell you whether or not they are over-enrolled, whether anyone has been taken off of the waitlist or whether they intend to take anyone off of the waitlist. All they really seem to be willing to share is that everyone will receive a final disposition on his or her application by August 20.

That said, a number of people on this thread have indicated that they have reliable sources that tell them that CLS is over-enrolled.

Anybody heard anything? I looked at last year's thread and it seems like all the movement happened between the 4th and 12th. I don't think there are too many of us left at this point...

Good luck!
