I have unsubscribed twice. Geez...do I have to directly reply to silence this persistent broad?

Geeeez. She is relentless!

I replied to her after three needy emails ("Have you been getting my emails? Check your spam folder.") in October. I said: "Thank you for your offer. I do not intend on applying to blah blah blah at this time, but I will keep you in mind throughout the application process. Blah." And I haven't heard anything since.

lol I got her email and instantly deleted it. Just got back from Pheonix and the weather was great. Maybe if I swung by to meet Candy in person she would have bumped my $20k to $30k.
If only I could leverage it to get money from a T14...looks like I'm paying sticker

Did anyone elses specifically mention your LSAT and GPA? I dont like that LSAC doles my LSAT, GPA, Name, and email out to any and every institution with a pulse.

Exactly! It seems bizarre to ask if her previous emails are in my spam folder, because if they are, chances are REALLY GOOD that this email (the one where this sentiment is being communicated) is ALSO in my spam folder.

Point aside, I feel like a huge loser...she only offered me 12k. :(

In the end though, I think it's absurd that they send these emails out hoping to snare people with high LSAT scores. If you're able get top 10%+ on the LSAT, you probably have enough judgement to avoid tier 4 trash.

Yeah, it had my LSAT & super specific GPA. So it would, in fact, seem like LSAC is a cesspool of jerks.

Got the email too, but hadn't gotten anything from her previously.

She mentioned GPA/LSAT combination as well.

Lmao! Hilarious!

They would probably withdraw your acceptance and tell you to go talk to Candy Kallen about your JD.

BTW Candy is a great name for an admissions person.
Imagine getting an acceptance letter to the t-14 from a Peaches or a Bunny.

I'm staying on Candy's list just so I can continue to laugh at these threads.

The next person to turn down her not-so-generous offer should include a link to this thread. Maybe she'd get the point then?

Whoa. Didn't realize she e-mailed so many! I have gotten at least 5 total. I wrote back and informed her that I had already accepted a position elsewhere.

I don't think I could go to a school where the admissions officer was named Candy.

Last time I wrote back that I wasn't interested and she avoided me this time around, so maybe sending something back works?

lol. I am a little bit curious as to whether or not that is her full first name.

Lol. Wow. I have met her. She was at ASU's Law Fair. She really is named Candy, and she's pretty... The person we should be laughing out though however, is the school receptionist...I forget her name. She's hopeless.

OMG! I love Candy and her aggressive e-mails. Sure, I'd love to attend Phoenix School of Law with $15,000 in scholarship. Especially since the "arrangement" is an exclusive offer. Screw T-14...lets all accept our exclusive arrangements! Sub T-4, here we come!!!!

I got the $15k offer the other day. What would happen if every single one of us wrote back accepting her offer? I think we should do it!

I don't know why everyone is being so harsh... the cost of living alone beats many of the places we have all applied. I for one am going to attempt to leverage some of my other scholarship monies and see what I can get.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
