Visiting schools on weekends

Post by nowinGA » Sun Mar 21, 2010 8:44 pm

I am trying to figure out how to visit a bunch of schools before all of these seat deposit deadlines that are upon us...

Does anyone know if, because 'tis the season, you can visit on Saturdays and Sundays? I mean, I realize I can visit the campus and the buildings...but do they have anyone on staff?

Not sure if that is a silly thing to expect, or if things are different during admissions season...

I appreciate any thoughts/suggestions! I wasn't expecting to have so many choices!

Check with each specific school. Most schools have a set time and date that they offer guided tours.

Most of the schools I've been visiting don't have regular tours on weekends, just admitted student weekends. I think it is ridiculous, since, I really can't take off school/work all the time to go visit these places. But yeah, each place is unique, so you'll have to do some browsing.
