Under what circumstances is it okay (read: not bothersome) to update your resume for the schools you really want to hear from?
I was informed this past week that I will be receiving two prestigious awards from my university. They said I could add it to my resume, which I did, but I am loath to send an updated resume with just the new awards to schools. What gives me pause is that my changes might seem insignificant to the school, and I would appear to be pestering them. I have already sent a "Why ___" essay to my top choice, and I'm not sure how it would look to send them something else, and have them do all that work to append another resume to my file and so on and so forth.
BUT if that's okay, then I'm happy to do it.
What do you guys think?
