Yes, I currently have a law-related job that I intend to keep during all four years. I don't see the point of going PT without a job...:)

Nice. I think most (if not all) PT'ers at GW work...which is different from a lot of schools. It's great.

I was half expecting some movement today. Let down!

Well Dean Richard said she'd provide weekly updates - I wouldn't get too upset until tomorow = )

When did she say this, and where does she provide the updates?

She wrote an e-mail late last Friday afternoon (after some initial waitlist--> acceptances went out) saying that she would provide weekly updates.

Anyone have any advice on what do do/say in visiting the admissions office? I don't want to look like an idiot in there.

Was May 24th a collective bust or an isolated one?

Hopefully you've all been addressing her as Dean Richard

But seriously, yeah, she is very friendly. The couple times I've spoken to her, she's always been very receptive and understanding.

Have you all been e-mailing and/or calling her direct line? I have e-mailed her directly with no response (I didn't pose a question though - just stated my continued interest, etc).

At the risk of outing myself...

I've called once or twice and gotten her on the phone; emailed her a couple of times with no response (which is totally understandable, given the number of people that must be doing the same thing...) and gone by to speak with her once.

My emails to her haven't posed questions either; perhaps that's why I haven't received a message back...which is, again, totally understandable.

IN!!! This morning via phone call, preceded by an e-mail gauging my interest. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go have a minor freakout.
