Ditto.gatorlion wrote:+1 Not sure why I even bothered to apply so early (and by early I mean October in most cases) when I would be queued up for several months while auto-admits get good news 5 days after applying.StyrofoamWar wrote:Every single school that claims rolling admissions, but then randomly reviews applications in no order at all and actually seems to avoid early applicants like the plague.
(just have to say, going thru the exact same here) Mad at all of it.

This is their backdoor way of keeping poor people out so the rich can get richer and the poor can get poorer...Xnegd wrote:Yale, because they don't allow a fee waiver even for the really poor folks who truly deserve it.

HA! Yeah because I'm sure there are thousands of potential Yale applicants that have 177+ LSATs and 3.9s that would go there but have no way whatsoever to scrape the application fee togetheradameus wrote:This is their backdoor way of keeping poor people out so the rich can get richer and the poor can get poorer...Xnegd wrote:Yale, because they don't allow a fee waiver even for the really poor folks who truly deserve it.

therefore, it is better to not check people's fitness before they become lawyers? also, i don't think one MIP when you are nineteen is going to keep you out. please correct me if i am wrong.jackster2 wrote:My comment about criminal charges and it's relation to being a lawyer is serious. Don't you listen to the news? Ever heard of Watergate? They were all lawyers. Clinton going through everyones FBI file at the White House? A lawyer. Enron? Lawyers. The banks? Who do you think advises those scum?
The state Bar never disciplines a lawyer unless it's so flagrant they have no choice, YET if you drank beer when you were 19, well maybe you're not fit to be a lawyer?

BC Law.
I went to BC High and BC yet, they couldn't give me more consideration for the LS?
So much for being a "triple eagle"...

1) All the schools that haven't told me anything since saying my application was complete back in early November.
2) All the schools who rejected me.
3) All the schools who forgot to give me full rides
4) Tulsa, Regent, Cooley, etc. you know who you are and why you're guilty!
Wow, I didn't realize law school admissions brought out so much violence in me!

Most definitely UVA. They took nearly 4 months to give me an emailed rejection, which honestly contained the line:
"I hope you excuse the informality of this communication, but I thought you might appreciate speed over formality"
Lol, what f'n idiots

There are non-violent alternatives too that I forgot to mention. Instead of a face punch, I've been using a Quinnipiac spam letter as a coffee coaster out of respect for my wood desk. Thanks Q, but no thanks Q! Gulp. Mmmm.... Arabica beans.Pretzel_Logic wrote:+1thickfreakness wrote:Also, University of Tulsa who sends me like 3 e-mails a week for the last 8 months.

There are actually three. Waitlist, priority, and secret priority.jks289 wrote:Georgetown, for having two different waitlists. What the F is the point of that?

I would punch Harvard. Not that I applied there or anything, but just because it would make me feel good.

Before your post can be processed, you must indicate 1) where your parents went to high school, 2) how much you expect to deduct from your taxes in 5 years, 3) the make and model of every car you have owned.Lurkster wrote:The "Need Access" law school response is credited.
Also, if applying to Cornell, mail a copy of your 2009 tax return to your great uncle.

Not a law school so much (yet...), but I would love to lay LSAC out cold. $12 bucks per app, plus the $120 fee for transcripts/LORs! Weak.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
