Anyone else get the invite for the Toll Public Interest Scholarship today?

I'm psyched to get the invite and am crossing my fingers. One of the few things that could make me turn down Harvard.

Yes, I did and it sounds amazing. Definitely going to apply. Feb 16 is coming up quick though!

Yeah, for real. And I'm going away Presidents' Day Weekend, so now I'm trying to figure out when exactly I'm going to write this essay. I'll make it happen, though.

Well, we are supposed to answer all three of those questions, but I was going to incorporate them into one essay. Or maybe not...

All it says is, "In return, we ask that students commit to working in public interest when they graduate." I can't seem to find more specific information on the website either. (Is it just me, or is their website kind of difficult to navigate?)

I hate when there are no word limits...I think I am going to write the three as separate answers.

I submitted the 5-year plan essay with my application (and I really liked what I wrote), so I am also struggling with how to expand on that in a meaningful way for the second question.

Yup, got it a couple days after I sent in my responses.

So today is the deadline for when we're supposed to hear back about whether we got an interview. Has anyone heard yet?

Yes, I heard back on 4/9 in the evening.

For those who were finalists for the Toll scholarship, how was the interview process? What kinds of questions do they asked? Is it based on your résumé or more hypotheticals?
