Should I call???

Post by texaspecial88 » Wed Feb 03, 2010 2:48 pm

I have been complete at USC, Duke, and WUSTL since early November. Should I call? Does this mean these are definite rejections?

also, my application for W&M has said decision pending since 11/2, should I call them?

No still early. W&M explicitly says they don't give most decisions out till march, so you're in for a wait.

I don't think calling will do any good. If anything, it makes you look impatient (though I think we have a damn good right to be impatient after all this waiting). Of those 3, I've been UR at Duke for over 3 months. Sure, its probably just a rejection, but calling and prodding them will do nothing to change that, or get my decision any faster.

I would probably call and make arrangements to visit my first choice. Let them know you love the school.
