Congrats, Orphanarium!

Is anyone else compulsively checking the Boalt Admissions twitter page?

Also, I looked at 2009's LSN and 1 person was accepted on Tuesday, March 17 and then everyone else heard on Thursday, March 19... so maybe we will have to wait another day to hear our fates.

congrats to those of you who are in or are about to be. boo on the no updates to the status checker. waiting on a slap in the face from my alma mater is getting old!

Right now, I hate living on the East Coast. It's already noon time for me. Meanwhile, Tom and his crew are just settling into the office.

That's how we west coasters feel in the afternoon/evening. 8 hours before we go to sleep and no news because east coast offices are closed.

Let's hope Berkeley makes this new found West Coast problem a part of my life next Fall!

What a horrible thing to say. I really really hope you get in to make them eat their words. Obviously you are bringing something to the table or you wouldn't have gotten as far as FR. There's more to a person than GPA+LSAT that's for sure.

Just discovered the twitter page. Doesn't seem like they update it much though.

Just send them out already! Please dont make me wait till friday, I have a test.

FR1 decisions seemed to start at 3:30 pm EST, so it seems like we have to hold off at least one more day.

Just got the call!!!!! I'm in! Wow, I'm so excited. Really, really wanted it. Came at 4:00 PST. Have your phones by you everybody!

So, we're counting on hearing from them tomorrow (Thurs), right? They did phone calls yesterday... seems like nothing happened today... so emails starting tomorrow make sense, right?

You can't predict it based on a few phone calls. Their FR email said on or around the 12th, so stick with that. Chances are they will update the twitter when a big batch of responses are going to go out.

First letter of last name? In case it's alphabetical.

From this thread, I see that there are two FR rounds: FR1 was notified at the beginning of January and a decision was made in mid-February, while FR2 was notified in mid-February with a mid-March decision. Anyone know roughly how early you'd have to apply to avoid FR2 (assuming you get sent to FR of course)?

I am living in Paris, France and have to wait aaaaaaaaaaallllll day! I guess we won't hear until friday...

I applied mid-Dec and got send to FR2. Most folks who applied by Dec. 1st or so got sent to FR1. Berkeley was closed down from mid-Dec to Jan. 6th or so, so anyone applying during that time was generally too late for FR1.

In short, apply before December.

I usually don't post on TLS; I just like lurking. But wow. I'm in shock. I'm a Berkeley alum, so when I saw the 510 area code, I froze. It hasn't sunk in yet for me. I'm going to Berkeley!!!

I checked my status checker around 2 hours before I got the call, and it still said that I was UR. I was also browsing through this thread no less than 5 minutes before I got the call. TLS brings good luck

Congrats to those that are IN! You guys have me staring at my phone now... just hoping that it will ring...

Do you think they'll call me if I'm abroad? They know I'm abroad, but I can still be reached at my regular US number. Ok, this is a lot of wishful thinking on my part, but I really, really, really want that call (like we all do) and I don't care if I have to pay $3/min for it!

my status checker still says file under review.
