I'm in the same position -- still no news. Uh, oh. . .

No news. Is anyone else slightly pissed that they got our hopes up with this whole "Faculty Review", but in the end, will only be admitting kids with great numbers?

I am. :(

The attached waitlist document says they'll place approximately 300 applicants on the waitlist, and you can find out what quartile your waitlist rank is after May 1. Looks like LOCIs won't make a difference:

"Should I send new, supplemental letters of recommendation or a letter of continued interest?

Sending us additional materials or a letter of continued interest is at your discretion, and the best way to do so is via an email attachment. However, please note that any additional materials will have no bearing on your wait list placement or if we offer you admission from the list."

My mistake. I take it back. And will again commence my freak out. I'm not sure if I really wanted to hear that or not...

Congrats by the way. Sorry I can't be more supportive in my state of insanity.

my status checker says "A decision has been reached." that can't be good, right? I'm assuming people who were admitted had "Congrats" or something like that.

I have that too. Up top it says

"After reviewing thoroughly your application for admission to UC Berkeley School of Law, the Admissions Committee has decided, with regret, not to offer you a place in the Class of 2013. We wish you all the best in your applications to other law schools and in your career. Thank you very much for your interest in Berkeley Law and for entrusting us with your application. A letter will be e-mailed to you in the next 24 hours."
