Dinged at Berkeley too. Apart from my PT Duke waitlist this is my first response from an American school.

I'd already decided I didn't want to pay Berks tuition, but that doesn't help my ego. My poor fragile ego... :(

Let your ego know that Berkeley KNEW you were thinking you were much too valuable to pay such a pretty penny for your education, that the world should be glad to educate you for less than that...
