I am. I'm not Priority track, but this is getting really long. Complete 1/4.
Same here. Don't you think it is kind of weird? Should we e-mail?
And say what though? :( I'm pretty sure everything is complete. Ask about timeline stuff? They'll only say they're swamped and can't predict when we'll hear, etc. etc. I don't know, I always thought it's a bad idea in general to rush admissions. Thoughts?

I completely agree. But doesn't part of you freak out a bit that we have yet to go review and so many people are receiving decisions?

If Duke has been focusing on PT applicants, then they more than likely have files since Sept. to look over before they get to January. I think UVA ED has a similar affect. If they are not going by completion dates then they are looking at applicants with higher index numbers first.

UR at Gtown via status check.
Any ideas on what the typical turnaround from under review to decision is at Gtown? Also how do they notify people?

+1.

I expect a decision around May, after I've already submitted my seat deposit to NYU (or, wishfully thinking, Columbia/Harvard).

I've been UR since 1/7 and have been skipped over for some admits rejects and WL's so maybe they just need more time to look at my app. They WL/Reject by email, in by mail...also i think you get a decision rendered status on checker

Agree. I think Chicago is screwing themselves out of some applicants (not myself, as I would take NYU over Chicago anyway barring $$$, and I'm already in at NYU, but just in general) by doing things in strict chronological order. If they only admit post-December LSAT applicants beginning in March or later, most will have already been admitted and become emotionally attached to one of CN (and maybe MVPB, too).

There will be some holdouts for whom Chicago is their absolute top choice. However, for people who would otherwise be choosing between equals in CCN, getting into Chicago much later than CN will greatly reduce the chances of attending Chicago.

What is the turnaround time from going complete to a decision? Chicago has been admitting applicants every week so far.

Months at the moment. The latest complete date on LSN for someone admitted on Friday was 12/1. I suppose they may catch up fast over the course of February, though, if they really do admit people every Friday.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. If I were to get into CN and was still waiting for a decision from Chicago, this would probably affect my school visits (have to be done late March), my attachment to the schools, and my fiance's attachment to the schools/cities. It's my fault for applying late, but...

Does the Duke status checker change or does it stay at ready for review?
