In all fairness, Ding season (the meaty part of it) starts this week, so this thread should pick up.

There were 40+ pages of ding bar last cycle. I think this one is in the single digits.

Although there were some real gems last cycle; I don't think of done more than briefly smile at any of this year's posts yet.

Preemptive.

Dear Colorado - Boulder,

Yes I'm a Broncos fan, and yes I lived in the Centennial State for a few years, but you know what? Part of it is my fault with an inferior LSAT...My -8 on LG when my average on 30 PTs were -2 bumped me from a shoo-in to a reject. Oh well. C'est la vie. When I lived in Colorado, I couldn't breathe, I was just a kid, and quite honestly, I'd rather not go back to mouth breathing like I did when I was a youngin'.

Perhaps if I'm lucky enough to get a good legal career, I can give Sports Authority Field a visit or two per season. But for now, fuck off.

Dear Berkeley,

I really though we could be something special. You like high gpa you said you would look past my LSAT. I believed you. We could have served the public interest together. I would have taken out loans to make you happy, but now you break my heart. I'll move on, but I'll always have feelings for you.

Love,
So it goes.

Dear Berkeley,

I guess my ultra-conservative parents can stop stressing now. Boy, that would have been awkward.

I applied PT to Fordham in case I was going to get a job after I graduated. But, after the WL, I guess I wont be selling insurance for Metlife and going to a full time program instead....aw poo.

Dear District of Columbia,

I liked you when I visited - why no love? Georgetown, I guess Jesus is too busy helping Tebow, so I'm glad you won't make me rely on Him to get a job after your school. GW, all I have to say is my UCLA/Michigan acceptances can kick your waitlist's ass.

+1 for the Tebow reference.

Dear MSU,

The fact that I could not find an airport, train, bus, hot air balloon, soap box derby car, roller skates, or snow shoe that could get me directly to your little city from NYC should have been a BIG FAT CLUE that this was not the making of a good relationship. But thanks for the ding anyway...I had already moved on to greener (and better ranked) pastures....
