Dear Penn,

When I realized other applicants were getting status checkers and UR notifications, I thought it would be wise to email and make sure my application was complete (as you said it was in January) and hadn't been lost. I did not expect to get a rejection email two hours later. So, did I ever actually go under review? I mean, I know I don't have the #s for you and I was fully expecting a ding, but I was also kind of hoping you'd actually, I don't know, open my file. Can I have my application fee back, you goddamn prick?

Dear Cornell,

First undergrad, now law school. I still don't hate you, but our relationship has become a one way street. I know my numbers weren't quite worthy, but I gave you reasons to look past them. This is the last straw; I offered you a few opportunities, but it looks like your never going to have this jelly.

Dear UIUC,
My numbers would have improved your medians, and my softs were amazing. Yet it seemed you waitlisted everyone with a 167. Well I realize that I will be doing the same and withdraw myself from every school in Ubana Champaign.

OH man does it feel good to call in my withdrawal. "please withdraw me because I got into this t15/t16 school." Implying that the school you are withdrawing from isn't good enough.

Ok, Georgetown, there are two ways to do this. The first, and easiest way, would be to say "lol texas."

I don't think that quite captures how irritated I am though. I know I applied late (Dec 22), but according to LSP, I am an "Admit." This is what pisses me off. I have no criminal record, a PS that isn't amazing, but definitely is above average, and I even did an interview upon your request, which I thought went well. To be honest, I was probably waiting a year to reapply if you ended up being my best acceptance anyway, because, you know, you're not T13, but that doesn't give you an excuse to turn down my LSAT. I mean, really, who do you think you are? Your employment stats made it clear long before this texas thing that you weren't in the same league as the T13. Hopefully I'll make it into a school that will help me find a legal job, but if not, at least I won't be in a school that offers temp jobs to unemployed grads to game the rankings, and then STILL ends up tied at 14th with Texas. Enjoy being a strong regional school for NY and DC.

You are not qualified to go to Yale, you unpretentious, unasshole. If I ever get in a position to not hire a Yalie, I will coin the term "I just ElvisAaron'ed your asssss!". Good luck wherever you go.

Dear Georgetown,

At ITT Tech I can pursue a career in criminal justice for a fraction of the costs. Me 1, Georgetown 0.

Dear Michigan,

I will not beg, plead, or write ANY MORE essays to earn my way off of your waitlist and into the effing North Pole.

Let me acknowledge that your reaction to my refusal to be placed on the waitlist may well be disappointment, or even outright annoyance. It may feel like a message that I think I'm too good for you. That would be the wrong conclusion to draw... oh, wait.

I will take my 173 and 3.87 elsewhere.

Very Truly Yours,

cbp3443

Dear UW,

Last year I applied with a 160/3.7. You didn't give me a decision until April 1st and it was a rejection. I cried. This year, I applied on October 10th with a 169/3.7. I was "in review" for over 3 months and it turns out you WAITLISTED me??? Now I'm just pissed. 9 points on the LSAT apparently just moves me from rejection to WL. Would 10 have done it? Honestly, I hardly ever cuss, but FUCK YOU. I've gotten in to better schools with scholarships and your admissions office is the worst, most disorganized, slowest piece of crap I have EVER experienced. Good luck getting a good class this year with no scholarships as incentives.

With my warmest regards,
akili

Dear Fordham,
I was just about 100% on my decision & had pretty much forgotten I even applied to you, and then BAM- u waitlist me.
At least have the decency to ding me. You could have ripped the band-aid off quickly, like every other school I've reached for this cycle. But you couldn't, you sick sadistic hussy.

I'll send you my damn LOCI, but I'm not gonna pretend to like it, because I'm a masochist, and I like the abuse.

Go fuck ourselves.
