It's okay. Going anywhere at sticker right now is not a good idea. Try UVA.beautyistruth wrote:I thought that this was for bitching about all sorts of bad news with this cycle. My apologies

Dear Yale,
I have yet to receive my U.S. Mail copy of my rejection letter. Obviously, this means my rejection email was a clerical error and you've actually ruled in my favour. (Yes, favour. With a U.)
I understand, and eagerly await your acceptance phone call. Don't be embarrassed. We all make mistakes.
Warm regards,
amsong

Re: THE DING BAR
Oh Berkeley...
I understood why you rejected me when I came out of high school. Sure I wanted you, but I just had so much growing up to do. You were impressed when I applied as a transfer. You appreciated the steps I made towards becoming a greater person, but you still had your doubts. Now I know I've done everything in my power to impress you, but you still turned me down today. I don't know why and I probably never will. But I do know that I don't want to root for your wack-ass football team for three years. I don't want to get hassled by the homeless people that infect your campus for three years. I'm not trying to be that far away from a decent beach for three years. It's going to be awesome watching my Trojans woop that ass up and down every field, court, track, and pool we meet you guys on.

Re: THE DING BAR
Dear Berkeley,
Your faculty review was a tease, a flat out tease. You could have at least shown me a little leg and put me on the waitlist. Even your rejection letter is a tease, "If Berkeley Law remains your first choice you may wish to consider applying to transfer at the end of your first year at another ABA-approved law school. Transfer applicants are evaluated primarily on their first-year performance, and we offer advanced standing admission to 40-45 students annually from an applicant pool of approximately 250-300 candidates." No we will not do this again next year Berkeley. I need to move forward.
Consider me pink balled.

Yeah that part was really lulzy. Sure, I'll subject myself to this again to transfer from whatever great school I wind up at. LOLkay.Rory19 wrote:Dear Berkeley,

I would pay sticker at Harvard.... but mainly because I already live in Cambridge and I don't want to have to move my furniture out of my apt at the end of this year. Credited reasoning?alwayssunnyinfl wrote:Going anywhere at sticker right now is not a good idea.
More in line w/ the theme of this thread though: Penn... you's a bitch. Nuff said.

Boalt is so ding-worthy and gpa-whorish that they intimidated me out of applying in the first place.
Assholes.

Fuck you, Berkeley. Have fun with your organic, pesticide-free, double-digit underemployment score.

3.94 here and I still just got dinged. So much for that.shntn wrote:GPA-whoring piece of shit.goden wrote:Fuck you Berkeley
Anyway, thank you, Berkeley, for making the East vs Mid vs West coast decision process that much less agonizing. Now if Stanford would just hurry up and send me that overdue rejection...
