Haha I'm not going to actually get them. I just want some jeans with some soft lining.. my dream come true. The thing about jeggings is 99.99% of girls don't actually look good in them, you have to be super skinny. If I thought I could rock them, I'd get some.Gotti wrote:PLEASE DON'T. they look so retarded. get jeggings instead...skinny leg is inilovesf wrote:PS. I secretly really want pajama jeans.

Jeggings/leggings are all about confidence (unless you are more than 35lbs overweight). The reason girls look good in them is because they know themselves and are not constantly talking shit on themselves throughout the day in their heads.ilovesf wrote:Haha I'm not going to actually get them. I'm doing my undergrad in SoCal, and to this day I'm confused by the fact that some girls find it necessary to wear uggs with short skirts. It seems like a fashion oxymoron to me.

Ok in Minnesota, by necessity of staying above hypothermia level body temperatures. You just have to have something else over the leggings, like jeans, sweats, etccrankyankees wrote:any opinions on the overwhelming jersey trend: leggings and ugg boots?

Especially because it's so warm in SoCal. When I wear uggs my feet get HOT. And I do own Uggs, but they are only used in the snow!law_monkey wrote:I'm doing my undergrad in SoCal, and to this day I'm confused by the fact that some girls find it necessary to wear uggs with short skirts. I'm wearing that right now, but only because I can wear whatever the fuck I wanna wear to work and I was running late so I threw on the first pair of boots I could find.crankyankees wrote:any opinions on the overwhelming jersey trend: leggings and ugg boots?
I'm not trying to make a fashion statement...they're just comfortable right now/when I'm lazy.
I don't do this when I go anywhere that matters.

Look at the direction this has taken. FWIW I like certain jeggings, like the ones I have from The Gap that have pockets and zip up like regular jeans but are stretchier with stirrups on the bottom (IDEAL for wearing with boots).
Back to the dings? This is my favorite thread.

Re: THE DING BAR
I am wearing them with boots and an oversized boyfriend cardi at work. (I work in fine dining so I have a trendy workplace.) It looks fantastic. I will not apologize. But definitely an item that requires thoughtful consideration before breaking it out. Also, for anyone who would like a suggestion of a brand that will not be see-through, I recommend Kenneth Cole. (The jersey uggs thing made me kinda ok with getting waitlisted at Fordham though. I saw that from all the NY school people I studied abroad with and it was a bit much because the ladies did not think about their body type/the opacity of the leggings.)Gotti wrote:I'm wearing that right now, but only because I can wear whatever the fuck I wanna wear to work and I was running late so I threw on the first pair of boots I could find.crankyankees wrote:any opinions on the overwhelming jersey trend: leggings and ugg boots?

I'll be honest...I find uggs to be kinda hot, mainly because they look insanely comfortable. Of course, despite Tom Brady's attempts, it'll never be ok for guys to wear them.
