Nice. I like this. It's got a current event, it's got a fact, and, most importantly, it's pithy. 175.

Dear Regent, Cooley, UDM, Akron, and Whittier,

This was Lulz worthy. However, if this is an actual problem you can unsubscribe from their emails individually and/or uncheck the box on LSAC's website allowing schools to contact you unsolicited.

I replied to Regent that I was gay and they stopped...for a while. Now they mainly stick to spamming me with physical mail, since I went ahead and marked their e-mail domain as spam.

My girlfriend always gets home before me, so she texts me with the daily law school mail. Every day:

"Nothing from the schools you asked about... but there is this really big envelope from a nice place called Regent University. They send you mail nearly everyday, they must really think you're great."

Yeah, that's it

Dear Michigan:

You are my first and only rejection so far. Lets be honest, even if you had accepted me I was not going to come live in the frozen wasteland of Ann Arbor. I pretty much just applied so that if you took me, I could use you as leverage against schools that aren't right next to Detroit. If USNWR works "shittiest place to live" into its methodology, you might have a fair shot at #1! Keep the hope alive, because otherwise you're probably not going to move up the ladder.

By the way, when one of your largest selling points is architecture, you're probably doing something wrong. Besides, you only have a passing resemblance to Hogwarts, so stop trying so hard.

Warmest regards,
Mery

Dear Texas,

Good call, y'all. I wasn't quite ready to abandon watching cable TV anyways. And while it might have been cool to see my first real live duel, I don't think it would have made up for having to learn to cope with Red River Rivalry losses, rope cattle, spit tobacky into an old spittoon, shoot guns at minorities, fight anyone who gives me an upside-down hook 'em horns sign at a strip club, whack snakes with a big ol' stick, and swill moonshine at 9 a.m. while getting ready for the high school football playoffs. I don't even own a pickup truck. And no I will not give you a "Hell Yeah."

Dear ASU and any other school who thinks they can hand out decisions after April 1,
I'm not quite sure who the hell you think you are? You're not Yale, Harvard, or Stanford. Hell, you're not even Georgetown or Texas, and even if you were, it wouldn't matter. We both know you know how seat deposits work. We both know that you could easily have the majority of your decisions out by now. What you don't seem to know, is that in a buyer's market you are no longer in the position of power you once were.
Now I've worked extremely hard for the little money I do have, and while $500 for a seat deposit may not be a lot of money for a big school like you, it is a lot for me. So when you tell me it's not a big deal to pay a deposit at another school then come back to you, you're not just being ignorant, you're being insulting. I know this is "The Ding Bar" and I haven't been rejected, and in all likelihood I won't be. I am posting here to let you know that I, and hundreds others in the same predicament, are DINGING YOU. I will not wait on my knees until June for you. I will not throw out thousands of dollars in deposits for you. I can't wait until your ego and YP induced trepidation come back to bite you in your ass.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
