Has anyone else successfully sent a new LOR directly to Harvard and if so did you send a signed lsac contract with the letter or did you just send the letter alone.
I just sent the letter directly in the same envelope as my LOCI and they already added it to the status checker.

No I did not sign or send the contract. I believe the only thing I signed was my LOCI.

if I remember this one is a special case: original application was 4.0/170 but then a 174 on december retake. had jr1 and was likely held before they processed the new score. 174/4.0 is autoadmit

Obviously there's no way to know this, but what percentage of "holds" do you guys think end up sending Harvard supplementary materials of some sort?

But hope is still alive - they seem to be getting to the held pile before finishing up all the January applications.

I will withdraw everywhere this afternoon...this is it for me.

Awesome for mozhou7! I will really get excited when the first no JR1-held applicant receives a JR1. I think that's what most of us are waiting for.
