yeah it's pretty odd until you place it in context. if you were to attend indiana you wouldn't be hurting their lsat median. on the other hand, aschleic would, and as a result hurt them in rankings. i think that's why people call it the "rankings/numbers game." law school admissions is quite absurd.
Good point. And to be honest, I think my softs might have aided in their decision. That said, I think a 3.5/163 with a decent app package can expect at least a WL/In.

So - for the 50% of people that fall below the median line - are those spots generally filled with splitters, ie a person that helps them in one category but may hurt them in another?

The 6-8 week wait was pretty accurate for me. Submitted 10/30, accepted 12/16.
