Well, in the spirit of speculation, most of us who are still waiting don't really have obvious "admit" numbers (from what I can see on profiles) and we're sure as hell not YP. It seems like they just did a lot of admitting and WLing so I'm a little pessimistic. I'll still maintain some hope though.

And it seems like in the past they've done the rejections after WL and admit. Rejects find out by email around the time admits get their letter in the mail? Maybe that's wrong?

it does seem like a lot of people are getting WL. And with three different WL, there's plenty of standing room only. To the other dude, it seems like most people have a 2/26 deadline for when they'll hear, don't know for PT though.

I'm PT (and female ) and my December hold email also said I'd hear by 2/26.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, no one from the hold group has gotten rejected OR accepted yet. The WLers (although perhaps not all the WLers) have heard, but the rest of us haven't. The good news is, 2/26 isn't THAT far away. Let's all just pray for no emails!

That's all true. But, sorry to keep being the pessimist/devil's advocate, in past years it seems like WL and admits generally hear first. They wait to do the rejections until the letters for the admits are at least in the mail if not delivered. I'm just going from what I've read on the forums and discussions from both this year and last year. No news is still good news at this point. Good luck to everyone.

So I have been browsing a couple of GULC threads and it seems like 2/25 might be a ding/WL batch. It looks like in the past ppl have been able to log into the admitted students website the day they went DR.....

DR 2/25 myself, can't log in, but I am still waiting for the official news.

FWIW, I've been UR 2/17. They probably looked at my application once and immediately placed it in the ding pile. My LSAT is way, way below their bottom 25%. So long as my app doesn't go DR today, many of you guys probably have a chance.

So i was bored and i went through the georgetown 2013 pool on LSN. There are 338 acceptances that have been handed out and not withdrawn. These are only the acceptances on LSN and this is for around 590 seats (587 seats class of '09 according to LSN). Unless some of these guys are nice enough to withdraw if they are not attending, it seems like it might be a long wait for us who are waitlisted. boo

I guess the issue becomes, if not rejections, which waitlist? It doesn't sound like they'll get to the regular waitlist this year so preferred or preferred-preferred is the only way to go. Horrible system.
