Re: UCLA Waitlist Thread
I'm still on it, 3.4 169, but going to withdraw as soon as I hear Cornell's decision. I honestly hate this school (I was an undergrad there) and I pity all who think they are going to enjoy L.A.'s shallow lifestyle, fucked up economy and lack of big law jobs. You're all doomed.

Re: UCLA Waitlist Thread
Question, guys:
What would you do in my shoes? I am really really interested in working in Cali post-grad but am not committed to it just now. I'm in at Georgetown, but the location of UCLA -- SoCal would be amazing -- and the definite Cali connections are two really strong factors for me. Presumably if I got in it'd be sticker at UCLA v. sticker at Georgetown. Thoughts?

I am now a part of this thread. Just got the WL e-mail. Also got WL'd at USC yesterday. And I was WL'd at UC Hastings last month. No love from any of the Cali schools so far...

Hopefully we will see some movement this week. Has anybody heard anything regarding number of seat deposits received?

Yeah, That is what I am afraid of. I am riding out 7 waitlists in the hopes that I can avoid the LA scene.GermX wrote:I'm still on it, 3.4 169, but going to withdraw as soon as I hear Cornell's decision.
