Congrats! I was shocked that I was even admitted with my numbers, much less a scholarship.

Haha, yeah, I thought my below-median LSAT would prevent a lot of things. Thrilled to be wrong.

+2. Am I correct in my understanding that we will hear no matter what? Like, if there is an offer of $0 we will hear that in some sort of written form, right?

I was so proud of myself for staying away from the internet while I'm on vacation. I was sure that I had waited long enough that it would be sitting there waiting for me in my inbox. The closest thing was an invitation from Regent to submit an accelerated application

Also in the "haven't heard anything" club. Sucks.

Regardless, that's awesome about regent. Congrats!!!

Pay for law school that way... Thanks Cooley, Regent et al! Now Chicago doesn't have to send me money!

30k (10/yr). Got the e-mail yesterday. With my numbers, I'm surprised/happy to get 30 bucks from them, let alone 30k.

I got an e-mail telling me I'm not receiving a penny, but can take out loans.
Go to hell Chicago.

Dammit!
And it wasn't easy to figure it out either.. stupid "Though we are unable to offer you a scholarship or grant funds" line was embedded in the middle of a giant chunk of text. Eff.
(Okay, my #s suck, so I guess I shouldn't have expected anything... but still.)

Then again I'd still probably take Chicago at sticker attend over my current options.
Hopefully my current options improve.

Wow. I have literally four dollars in my bank account, my parents aren't helping me with school (and wouldn't be able to pitch in more than a few thousand dollars even if they were), and I'm getting ZERO need-based aid. Classy, Chicago.

$0 + crappy LRAP + PI program years behind that of many other schools... Chicago just dropped way way way down on my list.

Lol my parents combined make less than 20k, and I have $0. My FAFSA EFC is 0. I guess Chicago really doesn't do need-based aid.

Not to ruin this thread, but if you have a SO, Chicago's HPIP might actually be better than a lot of LRAPs for you. NYU for instance takes into account SO contribution, whereas Chicago doesn't. Just something to think about.
