I found that thread right before I saw your post! Sorry for doubting you But hell yeah to UNC and Wake moving up a few spots. Although I noticed that UNC is tied with 6 (?!) other schools...wtf

It looks like there was an in-state applicant on lsn who was waitlisted sometime today. I am really starting to wonder what is going to happen... Is there any pattern at all? It looks like the latest anyone got accepted to UNC last cycle was 3/30/09. Has anyone been accepted past 3/23/10 for this cycle? (Both from lsn.)

Am I deluding myself with the hope that anyone will still get in this year?

People were admitted with less. My application wasn't complete until rather late though because of recommendation letters, so I'm telling myself that UNC just ran out of space... makes me feel better at least.

We used to talk about the last wave of acceptances. I'm assuming no one is holding out any hope for this? Definitely feel like there's a huge stack of rejections sitting on their table and they're waiting till the last minute to send them. This is their prerogative. I just feel that if the news was going to be anything better than this, I would have heard.

I was skeptical about the last wave of acceptances to begin with. However, it seems like theres a good amount of people that haven't heard a word. I can't imagine everyone being rejected just like that. For whoever is still waiting, I think the most we can expect is a few accepts being sprinkled around but definitely no wave of accepts. Just my 2 cents.

Nope, I sent the paper back the next day and never heard anything, not that I expected to. It's been a month too.

I just got a phone call from Dean States saying that I was accepted. He was very nice and said that an email and packet would follow shortly. Hope that everyone else waiting gets the same news.
