Yeah, mine was dry humor. Then Artest made a similar response with slightly different syntax & upped the ante by making a deliciously craigslist-esque request...presumably this was meta dry humor.

In any event, I guess we might as well let silliness reign until May 1st....

Well, that's settled, then. And, the creepy factor ebbs. Silly factor remains (until at least May 1st).

Now all I have to do is find out how to learn to recognize humor when I see it.

Well, I just got back from a trip to find a rejection letter waiting for me. It seems like there wasn't much movement on LSN this weekend... Makes me feel special. Thanks, UNC.

I really expected at least a waitlist. At least there is no more wondering.

In-state, 166, 3.1, by the way.

Anyone know if the MyUNC portal can be used as a status checker or does it even update when you are accepted?

I think a few other people here (current UNC students) said that they tried looking at the MyUNC portal and that it listed their application, but it only said that they had applied. Even for a few that had been admitted their MyUNC portal didn't say so.

Mine correctly thanks me for remaining on the waitlist and for my interest in UNC. I am a current UNC student, I'm not sure if that helps. *shrugs*

I called yesterday, the woman said for sure, definitely, decisions are coming out Friday. Personally, I'm about 95% sure I'm going to be waitlisted, but I just want a decision anyway.
